"A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life" Coach K

Coach K is the coach with most wins in college basketball history with 1000 wins for Duke University.  I believe having a good name can be better for your life in the long run. A good name is what you leave behind, so it has to be one to remember.

"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches" Proverbs 22:1

I think this quote means that life isn't about being rich and having lots of cars or houses, sometimes it is about being a good person and having a good reputation. In the long run, a good name would last longer than riches because a legacy can never fade, but money will eventually end. One day your Lamborghini will get too old to ride, one day your house can set on fire and it could all end right there in a matter of seconds. But a good name will forever be there and can never go away.

"If your so called friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow."

Thomas S. Monson

I think this quote means to not be a follower. Just because everyone is doing something doesn't mean you should do it either because it's not always the correct thing to do. This quote is saying to make your own correct path even if you are alone. Be the light that guides people into the correct path. Stand for whats right, not for wrong, even if everyone else is standing for that.
