"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse"
Pathros

True wealth does not come from how much money you have or how many cars you have. It comes from how many people love you and how many people you love. That is wealth. When you can come home to a loving & caring family, that is when you know you are rich. Being wealthy is not about money, it's about loving and caring. If you have people that love you for you and not for your money or fame, that is true wealth.

"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have"
Boyd K. Packer

What this statement means to me is that being obedient, choosing the right and and following the right path creates opportunities. Opportunities can means two things, a chance to create another opportunity or to have more freedom. Eventually, if you are obedient and choose the right, you will see that following the right path does make you free. An example of being disobedient is ditching school and getting bad grades. By doing this you are limiting your freedom because eventually you will have to go to adult school. If you choose the right and are on the right track, then you will have more freedom because after high school you go to college (if you choose to) and then if you are still on the right path you will eventually have more freedom because you will graduate.

"Decisions Determine Destiny"
 Thomas S. Monson
Image result for thomas s monson
What this means is that the decisions you make will decide the outcome. If your decisions are bad like smoking, drinking and doing drugs, then you are destined to end up in the hospital. If your decisions are good like staying fit, eating healthy, sleeping early, then you are destined to succeed and live longer and happier. That does not mean that it is guaranteed to happen but it is almost certain that it will happen. Another example is if you stay up late and not care about school, your destiny will be getting F's and not passing classes. If you work hard and choose the right, you are destined to get A's and B's.

9/11

On September 11, 2001 a series of four terrorist attacks by an Islamic group by the name of al-Qaeda. The first hit was the north tower of the world trade center, between floors 93 and 99. At least 100 people were trapped inside with smoke and fire, some of them jump to their deaths. These are only some of the tragic facts about 9/11. My earliest memory about 9/11 is learning about it in elementary. I remember seeing videos and they were very heartbreaking, even as a child.
