Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting psychotherapy sessions
• Prescribing potent mental illness drugs 
• Supervising electrotherapy treatments
• Conducting research  
• Leading a team of mental health providers 

Average Salary: $90,000 - $200,000

Educational Requirements: 

Bachelors, Masters, PhD degrees 

In addition to completing the requirements for a degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine, psychiatrists must complete an intensive three year residency in psychiatry.

Reflection: Would you like to be a psychiatrist? 

No, because although I believe mental illness is a big issue in our society, I wouldn't be adequate for this job.

My Favorite Hobbies

 After school I like to play video games, my favorite game to play right now is FIFA 19. FIFA is a soccer video game. But I'm saving up for FIFA 20 because it looks really good and FIFA 19 is getting boring. Another hobby of mine is hanging out with my friends. I like to hang out with my friends because it's always fun and we just have a good positive time. My other hobby is playing soccer with my team. It's really fun especially because I get along with my whole team. My favorite professional team is Real Madrid, I've been a fan since I was a small child. My other hobby is watching movies and series on Netflix. My favorite movie is Mid90s. It is about a child who is inspired by teenagers who skateboard, so he learns how to skateboard and starts hanging out with them and accompanies them in their adventures. My favorite series on Netflix is Narcos. I really like this series because it gives an in depth perspective of the infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar and his life. It's really nicely directed and it's a great series.
 

My Summer

This summer I went to numerous places and it has been a good summer. I went to Soak City with my girlfriend and it was very fun. Then we went to Chick fil A and it was really good. This summer I also went roller skating for the first time, it's very hard but its lots of fun especially with friends. I went to the beach even though I don't really like the beach but it was fun because my friend went with me. I went to Seaside Lagoon and it was my first time going to a lagoon and it was fun because I went with my girlfriend and her family. Overall, this summer is the most I've gone out in years, so it was really good.
